The polyester-coating applied to our gates contains a titanium dioxide UV inhibitor. All of our gates are coated with a 3-5 mil thick coating with a hardness, corrosion protection and chemical resistance rating of “Very Good”. This means the coating will not chip, peel or corrode. The life expectancy of this type of finish exceeds that of most painted surfaces. Our quality materials and workmanship allow us to provide the most durable, attractive and maintenance free products in the industry.

If you are considering gates built of steel or iron, be aware that gates built from pre-galvanized tubing have weld joints and end cuts which are no longer zinc coated. These non-galvanized ferrous metals must rely solely on the paint finish to prevent corrosion. Even with frequent maintenance, they are often subject to rusting.
